Pricing
All prices in the gallery are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of GST

Payment
Payment must be made in full before the purchased artworks are delivered or shipped.

Layby
When paying over several instalments, the artwork remains at the Gallery until the final payment is received.

The artwork is withdrawn from sale during the layby period or, if displayed, will be marked with a green sticker.

The client can cancel the purchase at any time during the layby period. However, Space reserves the right to retain the initial payment as a default penalty.

Returns and refund policy
Under Consumer law in New Zealand retailers do not have to refund goods if customers have changed their minds.
However space gallery can assist with insurance claims in case of damage during shipping.

Copyright
The buyer understands and agrees that the copyright to the Artwork is retained by the Artist and that the transaction herein is not a sale or license to the Copyright to the buyer.
The buyer agrees not to reproduce or copy the Artwork without prior written authorisation from the Artist.

Shipping
Space can organise the packing and shipping of the artwork to an address specified by the client. The cost of this shipping and insurance will be added to the invoice. Payment must be received in full before an artwork is shipped.

Title to and risk of loss of the Artworks shall pass to buyer as soon as the Artworks are delivered by the gallery to the carrier.

The gallery shall not be responsible for any damages of any kind resulting from any delay in shipment or delivery of any Artworks.

Buyer shall be responsible for any customs fees or any additional delivery charges resulting from customs review as par the section below.

International Customs:
When we are shipping outside of New Zealand there is a possibility that the destination country’s customs service inspect the parcel and charge the recipient for import duties, quarantine fees or other taxes. This is outside of our control and Space art gallery cannot quote nor cover any such fees .
As per our legal requirements, a customs declaration will be on the parcel, stating contents and value.

Insurance.
The buyer shall promptly inspect all Artworks upon delivery to identify any damage resulting from shipment. The buyer agrees that any damages, loss and resulting claims, arising from shipment shall be satisfied solely through the insurance policy issued by the insurance carrier covering the Artwork shipment, and the gallery shall not be liable for any claims or damages not covered by Insurance. All claims pertaining to damage from shipment must be asserted in writing within ten (10) days after delivery of such Artwork or such claims are waived in perpetuity.

Warranty.
The Gallery warrants that the Artwork is an original work of art of the Artist and is sold “as is”.
The Gallery makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, whether of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.
If the Artwork is one of an edition or of a multiple series, the Artist hereby warrants that the size of edition or series shall not be increased after the date of execution of this contract.
However the Artwork may exists as part of different editions or series at a different scale, material or colour.
Identical images published using different media, may have quite different parameters, including, but not limited to colour, brightness, lightness, hue, size, weight, and therefore may look vastly different. This is attributable to the differences between types of media, consequently the Gallery is not responsible for any variance in images.
A certificate of authenticity may be issued upon request to the Artist.

Online Shopping
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars.
In case of price discrepancies between the gallery, the website and the online shop, the online shop price is the sales price.
