The 3 Graces

Medium: 3D-printed resin relief mounted on timber panel
Limited edition of 8
L70mm * W70mm

In this sculptural relief, Olivier Duhamel presents a trio of voluptuous female torsos leaning gently into one another, their forms touching in a soft, rhythmic cadence. Rendered in smooth, pale resin, the figures appear almost weightless, as though floating forward from the warm timber background that frames them. The contrast between the cool, matte surface of the bodies and the natural grain of the wood heightens the sculptural presence and invites the viewer closer.

Duhamel’s composition celebrates companionship, balance, and bodily fullness. Each torso is distinct in gesture and contour, yet the three interlock seamlessly, forming a single flowing silhouette. With the heads and arms largely absent, the focus shifts to the sensuous curvature of hips, bellies, and thighs—an exploration of form stripped of narrative distraction.

Although created through contemporary 3D-printing techniques, the work retains a hand-crafted softness. Subtle gradations in the resin and the gentle modelling of the anatomy lend it a tactile, almost stone-like quality. Three Friends stands as an ode to solidarity and feminine presence, merging digital fabrication with Duhamel’s characteristic warmth and sculptural sensitivity.
